I've always loved drawing and painting, in fact when I was 15 years old I wanted to be an architect, but I ended up choosing engineering. I would be lying if I said that the first years of my bachelor's were easy. During these first years, I did not perceive any creativity, and that did not motivate me to study and enjoy each of the subjects individually. However as I began to see the direct impact that science has on society, I started to use my intuition and creativity in programming and AI to make things better. Firstly, I successfully finished the Deep Learning specialization in Coursera, I ended up liking this topic so much that I decided to develop my thesis in the world of Computer Vision. As I was developing my thesis, I decided to do a 3-month internship at the IGN in Madrid, where I learnt a lot about earthquake properties and how to differentiate them from artificial explosions. During this process, I applied signal processing techniques with Obspy and improved my Python coding skills. After this great academic experience, due to my interest in wireless communications and my attraction towards AI, I started an internship at Telefónica. In August 2023 I was hired at Telefónica R&D, and since then I have contributed to two 6G projects, and now I'm working on D-MIMO and cell-free MIMO simulations, and on the intersection of AI and wireless communications with the help of Sionna.
